Our CSR commitments and policy
“We’re keenly aware of the vital importance of the climate and strategic challenges our societies are currently facing, and are determined to play an active role in achieving the necessary transitions. Our Innovation Lab develops innovative chemical solutions with lower pollution levels, adapted to the needs of renewable energies – geothermal, offshore wind, and hydrogen – and we are constantly developing our range of products dedicated to environmental protection. As a member of Sycopol and Interspill, we are also actively committed to combating all types of hydrocarbon-related pollution.
In our everyday operations we mobilize every resource to meet the needs of our customers while remaining fully compliant with applicable laws, regulations and the most stringent industry standards. We work to constantly upgrade the environmental profile of our products, investing and innovating at our facilities in order to limit our own impacts, both at the production level and in our logistical supply chains, as well as in the management and upcycling of waste. We are also committed on behalf of the communities in which we operate, and are always working to reduce our environmental impact, both now and in the future: our approaches will soon carry ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 certification, propelling us further down the path of continuous improvement.”

Our commitments to the environment
Alongside our energy company partners, REP is committed to an ongoing process of limiting the environmental impact of fossil fuel production, as well as the development of renewable energy: the Innovation Lab has adapted a range of Smart Chemicals for use in offshore windfarms and geothermal, as well as hydrogen production.
REP also produces and markets a range of products dedicated to the prevention of hydrocarbon pollution, which can be mobilized 24/7 via a dedicated hotline. Finally, REP is an active member of international anti-pollution organizations: SYCOPOL and Interspill, in partnership with the EMSA, the IMO, and European partners (NOSCA , SRGH and UK Spill).
Our commitments to people and communities
With a presence in 60 countries, production sites in 3 continents, and stakeholders – staff, representatives, partners and clients – across the globe, REP applies the highest CSR standards to every aspect of its production, in order to guarantee working conditions that respect the health and wellbeing of its employees: HSE audits are carried out on a regular basis, and validated by independent organizations.
The same level of vigilance in HSE is also applied to other areas: in its everyday operations, the Group applies an anti-discrimination policy and guarantees genuine equality of opportunity for all its staff. The importance of this challenge is reflected in our permanently established staff training initiatives, and is being taken even further: in Africa, REP issues grants to children of its partners and stakeholders who are preparing to enter full-time studies.
Finally, for several years REP has also funded sports clubs and sponsored charity and humanitarian operations, notably in Africa.
